Accreditation Guidelines/Criteria


UBC CPPD accredits continuing pharmacy (CE) programs using a set of comprehensive guidelines developed by the Canadian Council for Continuing Education in Pharmacy (CCCEP) designed to assure quality CE programs for all pharmacy practitioners.  Below are links to documents summarizing these guidelines, intended to assist CE program providers in the planning process and the process of submitting an application for accreditation.

1.    Program Providers 

For individuals and/or organizations planning, developing and/or delivering CE programs, please refer to the following documents reviewing the fundamentals of program development/delivery. Checklists are provided to assist providers in meeting all of the necessary accreditation criteria to expedite the accreditation process.

2.   Program Sponsors

For program sponsors and providers, please refer to the following documents outlining the policies in place with respect to sponsors of accredited programs .

3.   Program Presenters 

For program presenters and providers, please refer to the following documents reviewing the requirements for an accredited presentation.  A checklist is provided to assist presenters in meeting all the necessary requirements and to expedite the accreditation process.
