Objective

This program is designed for:

  • International Pharmacy Graduates (IPGs) - an IPG bridging program to achieve the competencies for practice in Canada
  • Canadian-trained pharmacists - to re-enter pharmacy practice in British Columbia after a prolonged absence OR provide updates on core competencies for practising pharmacists

The Canadian Pharmacy Practice Programme is highly responsive to the needs of the IPGs who are working towards their licensure in Canada, which is demonstrated in an 87% success rate in licensing examinations by our alumni. As a result of suggestions made by past participants, we are modifying our program to include extra role plays and increased videotaping, as well as changes to types of activities and their sequencing within the program.
