Fees

  • The tuition fee for the entire program is $10,000. The fee is payable in two instalments: a non-refundable program deposit of $2,000 is due with the application to the program, and the balance of $8,000 is due one week before the first day of class.  This tuition includes the classroom portion, practicum and "Getting Ready" session.

Students applying from overseas will only receive full acceptance into the program once the full tuition amount has been paid. No exceptions can be made. As a result, all applicants requiring confirmation of program acceptance in order to receive Study/Work permits should consider timelines for entire tuition payment.

If the student is not granted the necessary Study and Work Permits, a full refund will be granted on receipt of a photocopy of the refusal notice from Citizenship and Immigration Canada; however, if the student is not able to enter Canada until after the first day of classes because insufficient time was allowed for the issuance of the necessary permits, the $2,000 program deposit will be retained by UBC.

Payment options for students applying from overseas are limited to credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or wire transfer. Please contact the CP3 office for wire transfer details.

  • The fee if individual modules are being taken is $2,250 per module. All fees for individual modules are due one week before the first day of class.
  • The fee for the "Getting Ready" session is $750.00. Applications will be accepted until the session maximum is reached. From then on, applications will be placed on a waiting list. Please see the "Getting Ready" application form for details regarding the cancellation policies.
  • A non-refundable application fee of $250 must accompany the application form for the full program or individual modules.

Programme fees do not include:

  • The costs of books and other course-related expenses.
  • Accommodation and meal costs.
  • Student registration fees with the CPBC
  • Any expenses related to visas and immigration

The cost for reference books is estimated at $350. A list of recommended textbooks will be provided to the registrants.

Food and accommodation are estimated to start at $1000 per month. The programme does not make any recommendations, but some information can be found at the following sites:
