How To Apply

Registration Requirements

The mandatory requirements for registration are as follows:

  • Registrants must have successfully completed the Evaluating Exam of the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC). For further information, please visit their web page at www.pebc.ca and follow the links for the Evaluating Exam.
  • Registrants must have successfully completed the English Language Proficiency Requirements (ELP) as set out by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (CPBC). The different options are listed here. (PDF 86KB)

No application will be processed until such time as the applicant has successfully completed all requirements.

College Registration

Any student planning to enrol in the Canadian Pharmacy Practice Programme must be registered as a Qualifying Candidate with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (CPBC) in order to participate in the Practicum. Information can be found here. (PDF 34KB)

Students who register for the full program should not register through the college for their Structured Practical Training (SPT) as the Internship Practicum will be accepted by the college as completion of the SPT requirement.

Attendance

Due to the heavy workload of the program and the fundamental principles taught in the first weeks of the program, attendance in all classes is mandatory from the first day; late arrivals to the program will not be permitted. Further, any students missing class during the initial three (3) weeks of the program will have their registration cancelled and will forfeit the $2,000 tuition deposit plus a prorated amount based on the number of days into the course.
