Continuing Pharmacy Professional Development Program Advisory Committee

Background
UBC Continuing Pharmacy Professional Development (CPPD) strives to provide high quality programming to support pharmacy professionals in maintaining and improving their competence, and in providing high quality patient care. UBC CPPD relies on the input, expertise and feedback of practicing pharmacy professionals in the Program Advisory Committee (PAC) in order to provide relevant, timely, high quality, innovative programming initiatives that meet the learning needs of BC pharmacy professionals.

Responsibilities
The CPPD Program Advisory Committee shall:

  • serve as an Advisory panel for the development of UBC CPPD programs and initiatives to ensure that they are relevant and timely to the learning needs of pharmacy professional in BC;
  • report on the effectiveness of promotion of UBC CPPD programs and initiatives; and
  • provide feedback regarding the accessibility of UBC CPPD programs and initiatives

Meeting Frequency
Committee meetings will take place at the call of the Chair, a minimum of once per calendar year at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences on UBC’s Point Grey Campus. Lower mainland Committee members have the option to participate in meetings in-person or by teleconference or web conference. Committee members outside the lower mainland will participate in meetings by teleconference or web conference.
